Memory of Elephants - Glasgow De La Mega Hoz

Glasgow De La Mega Hoz is the new single from Memory of Elephants.

Early in 2015, Dan Beesley, guitarist in Manchester-based-Turbo-Proggers Cleft announced he had been diagnosed with a brain tumour. Having shared a stage with Cleft on a number of occasions, the boys in Memory of Elephants were quick to send positive vibes Dan's way, along with the rest of the UK 'math/post/instrumental/whatever-you-want-to-call-it' scene.

Dan, being the absolutely legend that he is, took this news in typical Cleft good-humour. A JustGiving page appeared in Dans name, entitled 'TurboTumour', with the target of raising £200 for Macmillan Cancer Support before the bands slot at ArcTanGent Festival later in the year. Overwhelmed with support from well-wishers from all over the UK and further afield, the JustGiving Page quickly hit 100% of target, and...just...kept...going (totalling over £4,500 at the time of writing - https://www.justgiving.com/turbotumour)

Ben (Bass, Memory of Elephants) explains..."When we heard the news about our friend Dans tumour diagnosis we felt compelled to help out in any way we could. We recorded this tune because it was the first cover we ever jammed as a band and are 2 very important songs to us that definitely influenced the sound of our music."

ALL PROFITS FROM THE SALE OF THIS SINGLE WILL GO TO MACMILLAN CANCER SUPPORT.
Pay-what-you-like, from a £1 minimum.
